Pattern - Shawlette "Valley of Flowers"
This is my very first design. The motif of the trim was inspired by Haapsalu lace traditions. I love nupps and think they are quite simple (if you know the right technique) and can be used to complete a perfect pattern. This shawl has a crescent shape and is worked from hem to top.
Yarn used: Shibui - Silk Cloud - Ivory.
Fibers: 60% Mohair, 40% Silk.
Yarn weight: Lace, 2Ply.
Yardage: 530 - 540 yards (485 - 494 m).
Size made: 17.7" x 70.7" (180 x 45 cm).
The pattern includes a step-by-step description, a simple to follow chart and detailed instructions. I hope you enjoy it!
