Information about the yarn Yarn: Knit Picks, Capra DK Color: Flamingo Fiber Content: 85% Merino Wool, 15% Cashmere Weight: DK Weight Knitting Gauge: 22 sts x 29 rows = 4" on US 4 - 3.5 mm needles Crochet Gauge: 12-17 sc = 4” on 7-I hooks Yards: 123 Grams: 50 Care: Hand Wash/Dry Flat In my opinion it's a quite soft yarn, gentle enough for a baby sweater. It's getting fuzzy in prosess of knitting.

Silk Shawl

Ooh! This is soo pretty! The pattern is a slightly modified version of two cross pollinated shawls: 1. Laminaria 2. Echo Flower . I used yarn from Henry's Attic - Rapunzel 1Ply - 100% Tussah Silk with a lovely golden color, it's natural crispy texture and mild shine. This yarn is surprisingly fuzzy almost like mohair. I didn't know how this wild silk will behave after blocking. It is my first tussah silk shawl. So actually the shawl became like starched after blocking but this effect didn't last long, after first photo session the fabric has become soft again. This shawl is available for sale in my LaceKnit etsy shop.

Rapunzel 1Ply

Finally! I have got this amazing yarn from Henry's Attic! It's Rapunzel 1Ply. It is 100% Tussah silk, shiny, natural, undyed yarn. I'm so surprised that on Ravelry this yarn has only 4 stashes including mine and no projects at all!   I noticed that fabric of this yarn is twisting a bit. It is just something I have to be aware of. I'm so excited to start some nice project with it.
